]]> All dogs are cute, but there’s something extra cute about a really well trained pup. A pet who enjoys a close relationship with their best friend usually also enjoys the challenge and fun of learning a few small jobs and tricks as well. Wouldn’t you love for your dog to high-five on command? Or clean up a messy play area? Some are even happy to bring you slippers and an ice cold beer after a long day at work! All it takes is a few things: A lovely furry companion, a patient and fun owner, space to train, and most importantly, treats, treats, and more treats!

It’s no secret that some dogs are smarter than others. We’ve listed a few breeds that might have an easier time learning these fun little stunts! Among the most trainable pups, we have the following breeds: Poodles, Australian Shepherds (just like our Lilly!), Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Collies, German Shepherds, and Corgis. Of course, all dogs are capable of learning tricks and being trained, these breeds just seem to pick it up a little bit quicker! Below is a list of five common tricks to teach your dog. Check out the “How-To” videos for whichever skill you’d like to learn together.
